Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes Neuquén
Single seat of this institution within the country, opened on September 12, 2004 on the occasion of the centenary celebrations of this city. Its construction was a very important step because in recent years towards decentralization of the cultural heritage of the Nation.
Plaza Centenario (de las Banderas) (Centenario or Flags Square)
The “Plaza Centenario”, best known as “Plaza de las Banderas”, is the highest location in the city of Neuquén. Here, the Argentine flag waves proudly, and it can be seen from any part of the city. It also includes two flagpoles, which are reserved for the Neuquén flag or for other countries, in case of official visits. A water fountain gives great elegance to the place. The mausoleum of Colonel Manuel José Olascoaga, first governor of Neuquén, is located a few feet away from the square. In this burial chamber lie the remains of the Colonel and his wife.

Copahue Thermal Springs
Almost 1980 meters above sea level, the Copahue village, which houses the entire complex, is surrounded by a landscape shaped by volcanic activity, the imprint of glaciations and wind erosion. This makes the environment arid and rocky, similar to that of the moon. Winter in Copahue is white with snow, which is why the springs are only open from December to April.
